Visiting Tennessee by yourself? No worries! There’s still plenty of activities to do while exploring the area. Here are some fun ideas and spots to go to while visiting Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg!

Relax & Unwind While Visiting Tennessee

The Spa at Oak Haven Resort is ready for you! From facials to massages to nail treatments, utter relaxation is Oak Haven’s top priority! What makes The Spa at Oak Haven so unique, is that they offer the “Wake Up Buttercup Mani and Pedi” special, where you get to be pampered all while enjoying some yogurt with honey.

Sometimes going out in nature and getting a breath of fresh air is all you need. In Sevierville, by Douglas Dam there is a picnic/scenic overlook area. There you can see the water, sit by the rocks, and enjoy the summer weather. Head onto Douglas Dam Rd and then take a right onto Douglas Overlook Way.

Don’t wine, sip on this!

While visiting Tennessee, the Rocky Top Wine Trail is always a good idea, especially since it involves wine! Enjoy the trail as a self-guided tour and visit our wineries as you explore town. Want to have it shipped to you instead? Our wine is available online for purchase in increments of 6 bottles, be sure to check it out here!

Our five wineries have a great selection of dry, semi-sweet, and sweet wines. Plenty of choices to please everybody! If you want to sip some wine but don’t want to drive, we do offer a VIP Wine Tour that includes the sampling but also some extra perks, for tickets visit our Eventbrite!

It’s important to take yourself out on a date, and in Sevier County there’s a restaurant for whatever mood you’re in. There’s Paula Deen’s home cooked meals, Quaker Steak and Lube if you love wings and fries, and Bullfish Grill for steak lovers.
