Wine Trail FAQs

In accordance with TN ABC rulemaking, here is a list of TN Direct Shipping licensees who sell wine on this site:

You can enjoy the wine trail 2 ways. The first is self-guided, where you can travel at your own pace. You may taste 4 wines for free at any of the wineries, or try them all for a fee at each location!  Make sure you pick up a passport at the first winery you decide to visit; if you get stamps from all of them along the trail, you’ll get a free gift! There are no age restrictions to visit the winery (but there is to sample and participate in the trail, of course! Must be 21+). You do not need to make any reservations, even if you have a group.

Another option is our VIP Wine Tour option where you can book at ticketspice.com/rocky-top-wine-trail where you will have your own personally guide take you to select wineries along the Trail, receive private behind-the-scenes tours, premium tastings, a food and wine pairing lesson, a swag bag, and discounts on all purchases! This is the perfect option if you are with a group. Tickets to the shuttle are 21+ only and each shuttle holds 14 people maximum.

You do not need to make any reservation if you’re doing a self-guided tour, however, if you are participating in the VIP Wine Tour you must book your tickets 24 hours in advance HERE.

Generally, we support a limited number of local charities but do consider others on a case by case basis. All charitable donation requests must be faxed to 865-428-4052 to the attention of Katie.  Note: As the number of donation requests we receive is very high, you will only receive a message back if we decide to donate.

Shipping and Wine Club FAQs

Typically we ship out all shipments the same or next business day. 

Federal and state law as well as the common carriers policies require any alcohol shipments to have an adult signature required (21 and up). 

If you need to change your shipping address to your place of employment, we can do that. We can also ship to a friend, family member, or neighbor (21+) who will be home and is willing to sign for and accept the package on your behalf.

Once you sign up for the club, you will be obligated to receive one club shipment before cancelling. After your initial shipment, if you would like to cancel future shipments we will be happy to accommodate you.  Please reach us directly at 865-389-9490 or wineclub@rockytopwinetrail.com.

In order to place your selection, you will need to log into your club profile. Once you get logged into your account, you will see Manage Account, your name, Club Selection, and Sign Out near the top of the page, above the tabs to change your information. Click where it says Club Selection. That’s where you will put your selection in for your upcoming shipment. Follow the prompts all the way through and click Request Email Confirmation in order to save your selection and receive an email from us confirming your selection was saved. If you don’t see that email in your inbox, it could be in your junk/spam folder. As long as the selection in your confirmation email is correct, you’re good to go. If you do not receive the email or if it’s incorrect, please let us know.

Winemaker’s Select and Quarterly Case Clubs — We do not offer seasonal wines in our club shipments as we cannot guarantee we will have enough for all members who would like to have them in their shipments. Again, these offerings are limited but can be found in our online shopping cart, when in season.  See the link below for ordering outside of your regular club shipments. Remember to log in with your club login information once prompted once on the shopping cart to ensure you receive your additional club member discount.

Monthly 3 Pack Club — All available wines are listed under Member Choice. If you do not see it on the Member Choice page, we do not have stock available.

Winemaker’s Select and Quarterly Case Clubs — We do not offer sparkling wines in our club shipments, as our packages must be of uniform size and weight. These  wines can be found in our online shopping cart, as long as they are available. See the link below ti order some if you’d like, outside of your club shipment. Remember to log in with your club login information once prompted once on the shopping cart to ensure you receive your additional club member discount.
