Looking for the perfect time to visit the Smokies?
Right now would be ideal. After the tragic wildfire incident that occurred nine months ago, businesses have been requesting for visitors to visit the area.
“Tourism is our only industry in Gatlinburg & Sevier County,” Mark Adams president & CEO of the Gatlinburg Convention & Visitors Bureau, said in an email statement.
Subsequently seeing the vivid images on the television of the fire and area being destroyed, many people assume there is nothing left to see anymore.
However, the beautiful trees are still growing and the town is brighter than ever.
The local wine and shine is still irresistible.
And the friendly hospitality is never hard to find.
